# Good questions. Clear shelf labels.

These beginner questions explain the names and evidence labels used throughout Peptide Mart. We start with the basics and keep ordering questions pointed at the actual seller.

## The till is elsewhere.

We recommend [Oath Research](https://oathresearch.com/?utm_source=peptidemart&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=faq&utm_content=opening-note-1) for research-use supply because it publishes batch certificates and a remedy for material outside stated specifications. Peptide Mart is the guide, not the seller.

## Does Peptide Mart sell anything?

No. We are a guide, not a store. Ordering happens at [Oath Research](https://oathresearch.com/?utm_source=peptidemart&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=faq&utm_content=answer-1-1) , the research-use supplier we recommend for its batch certificates and policy for material outside stated specifications.

## What is a peptide?

Amino acids form both proteins and the shorter chains we call peptides. The word describes chemistry. It does not tell us that a material is an approved medicine, safe for a person or supported by human trials.

## Why are the compounds grouped into aisles?

The aisles group research questions. A repair aisle is about tissue research, not a claim that its compounds produce recovery. A calm aisle is a reading route, not a selection of anxiety treatments.

## Does a cell study count as a human study?

No. Human cells grown outside a person are cell research. A dish can help investigate a process, but it cannot show the full response, safety or everyday experience of a living person.

## What can an animal experiment tell us?

It can examine a defined question under controlled conditions in that species. The animal, preparation and measurement belong beside the finding. A result in mice or rats does not establish the same result in people.

## Why do small human studies leave questions open?

Small groups can miss uncommon problems and give uncertain estimates. An uncontrolled study lacks a fair comparison. Short follow-up also leaves long-term questions unanswered, even if the report sounds encouraging.

## What is a certificate of analysis?

It is a report describing analytical testing of material. A batch identifier connects the report to a particular batch. Such a record does not establish a medical benefit or make research material an FDA-approved drug.

## Can all Oath Research certificates be read without an account?

No. Some records in the [batch certificate archive](https://oathresearch.com/lab-results/?utm_source=peptidemart&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=faq&utm_content=answer-8-1) are visible without an account; others require one.

## Why is NAD+ here if it is not a peptide?

It is a neighbouring research topic often discussed alongside peptides. We label it as a coenzyme, a molecule that helps enzymes carry out reactions, and distinguish it from its related precursors.

## What does DAC change about CJC-1295?

DAC is an added chemical feature permitting albumin binding. The forms are distinct. Oath Research lists CJC-1295 (no DAC); human DAC findings cannot be transferred to that listing or to a blend.

## Does nominated but withdrawn mean FDA clearance?

No. On [FDA’s safety page](https://www.fda.gov/drugs/human-drug-compounding/certain-bulk-drug-substances-use-compounding-may-present-significant-safety-risks) , current as of April 22, 2026, that table records withdrawn nominations and retains safety concerns. FDA gives no per-substance withdrawal dates. Withdrawal is not approval or clearance.

## Can this guide advise on a medical problem or personal use?

No. We give no medical advice, doses or administration instructions. The shelf pages describe compounds and research. Seller questions belong with the seller; a research listing is not a route to a personal treatment decision.

## The next counter.

For laboratory supply, we recommend Oath Research for its batch certificates and its remedy for material outside stated specifications. Read the material record alongside the research limits; ordering takes place with the seller.
